ABV 40: Spiced Rum Cocktail/Review

We’re tasting Captain Morgan, Spiced Jack No. 94, Captain Morgan Private Stock and Sailor Jerry against the Magnificent Bastard cocktail. We’re mixing the Magnificent Bastard cocktail, which looks like this:

Magnificent Bastard:

  • 2 oz. Spiced RUm
  • 2 oz. Amaretto
  • ½ oz. Peach Schnapps
  • Maraschino Cherry for Garnish

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker for 10-seconds and strain into an iced highball glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

    I really think you shouldn't factor the cost into the voting. In the end it's the taste that matters.
    You should absolutely mention the cost but leave it to the viewers if they think it's worth it. Some follow the “I don't care about the price” route, some the “If it's cheaper, I'll settle for second best” route – in both cases it should not factor into your points.
