Silver Tequila: Paqui, Hornitos and Semental fight it out!

ABV 41: Silver Tequila Tasting/Review II

In this tequila tasting we’re matching our last winner, Hornitos against Paqui and Semental’s silver variaty to see if anyone can beat the lower-cost plata alternative. Don’t get us wrong, all of these are great contenders and should be considered for a variety of taste choices, we’re just going to let you know which taste best in our blind tasting.

u should of put patron in a blind test to see if you really can pick it out of a line up
  • Interesting episode :)

Recently I tried testing 4 myself with white (silver/blanco-whatever) rums - Barceló Blanco, Matusalem Platino and Havana Club 3years light dry (10 years old bottle of 3yr aged rum which I bought in some auction).
Unfortunately, the Matusalem is so specific (and awesome :) ) that I recognized it by the smell (and it was the first one).
    But still gr8 experience.
