Yeah, the chambord has no doubt been around awhile, I believe it's gone now though

The description you made of the colour and the taste of the Chambord gave me the impression that your bottle of Chambord was open since a little time. Red fruit liqueurs oxidate within a few days. The only way to slow down this process is to keep it in the fridge.

If you are looking at top raspberry liqueur, I recommend: Boudier.
Furthermore their cassis liqueur is THE one to use for a Kir.

Correct, it's awful. I hate it. I mention that in the notes below the episode and apologized. Unfortunately Jennifer recorded out of the wrong microphone and once we had it done, it wasn't worthwhile trying to re-do the episode since we'd know the tastes and doing it blind wouldn't be as valuable.

So, we just suffer with the audio as we have it..

As far as Cachaca is concerned I guess you can't ignore Pitu, can you ? At least in Europe it's by the far the most popular one.
